Location data is collected both while the app is in use and in the background during active jobs, to support continuous live tracking, route recording, and distance calculation even when the app is not in the foreground.
To provide this functionality, we use Google Play Services (location and mapping services) and the HERE SDK (mapping, positioning, and route analysis) to process location data. These providers process location data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and data protection terms.
Location data is shared with the despatcher, operator, or customer associated with the relevant job through the FCX Portal, Customer Portal, or Subcontractor Portal, and is not sold to third parties. Location data is retained for as long as necessary to support job records, delivery verification, and reporting, after which it is deleted or de-identified. You can control location permissions at any time through your device settings; disabling location access, or restricting it to "while using the app," may limit or prevent core functionality such as background live tracking and route recording.
